Tips To Support Restorative Sleep

 Sleep is essential for our physical and mental health. But not all sleep is created equal. Restorative Sleep, also known as "deep sleep", is the type that helps our bodies repair and rejuvenate.

This is the time when tissues are repaired, bones and muscles built, and the immune system is strengthened. Restorative sleep also helps regulate hormones, including those that control appetite, mood, and stress. 

Magnesium has been touted as a natural sleep aid as it helps with regulating the hormone melatonin. Melatonin is produced in the brain and helps regulate our sleep-wake cycle. Magnesium also helps to relax the muscles and calm the nervous system, all contributing to better sleep.
