Green Goddess Dressing is on of the most versatile dressing recipes found in our best-selling recipe book, Recipes. We suggest keeping a jar of it in the fridge at all times to top any healthy Cleanse meal such as a salad, roasted fish, or your favorite buddha bowl recipe.
Many common store-bought dressings contain refined and possibly rancid oils as well as added sugar, stabilizers, and other processed ingredients. Even bottled “green goddess dressing” from seemingly wholesome brands can contain high amounts of unhealthy fats from processed oils and dairy.
Popular green goddess recipes floating around the internet use mayonnaise as a base — an unhealthy fatty emulsification high in cholesterol and sodium…not exactly Recipes!
Unlike popular recipes and bottled brands, our Clean version of this delicious dressing contains alkalizing lemon, digestion-friendly miso, and healthy anti-inflammatory fats from olive oil and tahini. Fresh leafy green herbs provide an antioxidant and flavor boost.
Serves: 16 (makes 1 pint)
Prep time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
In a blender, purée together the tahini, olive oil, vinegar, lemon juice, garlic, and miso until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add the parsley, cilantro, basil, scallion, and salt and blend again.
Store dressing in the fridge in a sealed glass mason jar or bottle for up to one week.
