How do I check the status of my order?

You’ll receive an email that includes the tracking link once your order ships. You can also access order status and tracking information within your customer account order history. After logging in to your account, select Account, then Past Orders to view your order history.

How can I expedite my order?

We offer free ground shipping within the United States on orders over $50 with an estimated arrival time within 5 to 7 business days. For an additional fee, we also offer expedited shipping of 1 or 2 business days.

All shipping times are estimates from the shipment date and not when the order is placed. Please note that while our warehouse team ships items very quickly, we can’t guarantee arrival times once an order is in transit.

Can I return something I purchased?

All sales are final. Per our return policy, we are unable to accept product returns once orders leave our warehouse. This policy helps us protect the health and safety of our customers due to the nature of our product line.

Please review our return policy within our terms of service regarding returns, refunds, and exchanges.

How do I make changes to my subscription?

You can easily modify your subscription by logging into your customer account. Once logged in, select Account, then Subscriptions. Here you can adjust your payment information, delivery address, next shipment date, and delivery frequency.

Do you ship internationally?

We offer the following international shipping options to Canada ONLY. Unfortunately, we can’t ship outside the USA and Canada at this time.

  • USPS Priority Mail International: Arrives usually within 6-10 business days
  • USPS Priority Mail Express International: 3-5 business days


At this time, Clean doesn’t offer free international shipping to Canada. Shipping costs are displayed at checkout and based on the weight and destination of your package.

Please note the actual number of days may vary based on origin, destination, and customs delays. There may be additional fees for duties added at the discretion of customs. We have no control over fees incurred with international shipments.

What is Route? Do I need it?

Route insurance covers your purchase should it be lost or damaged in transit. We recommend that all our customers opt to use Route insurance at checkout. We are unable to cover or replace missing or lost items without it.

To file a claim with Route please visit the Route Resolve Center.

What if my order goes missing?

Route insurance must be included to cover lost or stolen items. For stolen or missing packages marked delivered to the address on the order, customers can file an insurance claim with the courier for refund/replacement within 15 days of the marked delivery date.

For damaged items, we require notification within 72 hours of marked delivery for assistance. Please send photos to support@cleanprogram.com with your email so we can help you.

We’re unable to assist with items that arrived broken, missing items, and missing packages outside of the policies listed above, and without a photo of the broken items and/or package.

Are Clean products suitable for children?

No. Clean products are designed for adults 18 and over only.

Can I use Clean products while pregnant?

We don’t recommend Clean reset programs for pregnant or nursing mothers.

Further, if you have an existing medical condition or are taking prescription medications, please consult with your doctor before committing to any of the Clean Programs. For more information please consult our health disclaimer page.

What is the shelf life of Clean products?

We aim to deliver products that are safe to use for 12-24 months after delivery. We guarantee that all Clean products are safe to use for at least six months from the purchase date, unless otherwise communicated at point of sale on the product page. You can reference the individual product labels to determine each item's specific expiration date.

Please note that while we recommend storing your product in a cool, dry place away from light and heat, Clean products don’t require refrigeration.

What should I do if I’m experiencing a reaction to a product or program or have a medically related question?

For medical inquiries or to report an adverse event please call 833.757.1754, medical professionals are available 24/7 to assist you.

My product is expired. Can I still use it?

Unfortunately, we can't advise using Clean products past the date of expiration, as nutritional products can diminish in potency and efficacy after the indicated date.

Do you test Clean products for quality?

Our manufacturer is GMP certified and Organic certified, when applicable, and we test all raw materials for potency, purity, and safety from contaminants such as pesticides. We test all Clean powders for heavy metals.

Is your packaging BPA-Free?

Yes, all of our packaging is BPA-Free.

Gift Cards

How will I receive my gift card?

You’ll receive an email with a link to your gift card code after you complete checkout. You can forward the email wherever you like or keep it for later use. Your gift cards do not have an expiration date.

How do I use my gift card?

You can enter a gift card code at checkout, in the same place you’d add a discount code.

Can I use my discount codes to buy a gift card?

Unfortunately, discount codes cannot be used on gift cards. However, you can apply discount codes to any other applicable full-price items in your cart.

Can I combine gift card codes?

Yes! You can use as many gift card codes as you want to when you check out.

Do gift cards expire?

Purchased gift cards do not expire.

Who is the Clean 21 Reset for?

If you are feeling low-energy, experiencing inflammation, digestive discomfort, having trouble sleeping, or simply feel it’s time for a reset, Clean 21 is here for you. Over the course of 21-days Clean 21 will support your gut healing process, enhance detoxification and help restore your body’s essential functions to a more optimal state.

If you are currently on prescription medication, or working with a health condition, we recommend reading our Health Disclaimer page and consulting with your doctor before getting started. Our programs are formulated only for those who are over 18 years old, and are not suitable for those who are pregnant or nursing.

What is the difference between Clean 21 and Clean 7?

Both Clean reset programs are built upon a MD-designed protocol, as well as shakes and supplements, to tap into and enhance the body's natural ability to heal.

Clean 21 is our signature reset program. If you haven't embarked on one of our reset programs with us before, it's the perfect place to start. You can expect to eat from the specified Clean Diet, observe a 12-hour fasting window each evening, and follow a daily protocol of a shake for breakfast, a solid meal for lunch, and a dinner shake or liquid meal. This program is designed to work deeply and thoroughly over this prolonged, three-week period building on healthy habits along the way!

Clean 7 introduces principles from Ayurveda, and extends the intermittent fasting windows used in Clean 21. This program is designed to achieve a powerful and deep reset in a short amount of time.

Clean offers complimentary health and wellness coaching around both reset programs to further personalize your program to your specific needs and health goals, and support you on your wellness journey.

How often should I do one of your reset programs?

We recommend completing a Clean 21 program 1-2 times per year, and incorporating either Clean 7 or Clean 21 seasonally to revitalize, however whatever cadence you choose will provide strong benefits.

Between resets, you may choose to incorporate some of the principles from your reset into everyday life such as incorporating Daily Shake at mealtime, adhering to the 12-hour fasting window, eating your largest meal at lunchtime, or following a modified cleanse-diet.

What is the 12-hour window?

When the body is constantly in a state of digestion, it doesn't allow for deeper detoxification to occur. After your evening shake, leave a twelve-hour window before having your morning shake. If you have your evening shake at 7pm, you should have your morning shake at 7am or later. The body sends the signal to go into deep detox mode approximately eight hours after your last meal.

Then the body needs another four hours to do a deep clean. Eight hours (for digestion) + four hours (for a deep clean) = the 12-hour window. Although you may find it challenging, committing to it will help you get the most out of your reset program.

Are Clean 21 and Clean 7 vegan?

Yes! Both of our reset programs are fully plant-based and vegan-friendly.

Are Clean 21 and Clean 7 organic?

The Cleanse Shakes in both of our programs are USDA certified organic. In Clean 7, you will also enjoy USDA organic herbal supplements and Tulsi Wellness tea.

Can the Clean Program Diet accommodate Paleo, Keto, or other dietary preferences?

Clean Program Elimination Diet guidelines can easily accommodate a vegan or non-vegan diet, meeting your unique dietary needs. Whether you are plant-based or pescatarian, Keto or Paleo the diet is inclusive of an array of eating styles and can always be modified with the support of our Clean Wellness Coaches.

What Can I Eat on Clean 21 and Clean 7?

Throughout the Clean programs, the goal is to avoid major allergens and inflammation-causing foods, while focusing on delicious and nourishing whole foods including fruits, vegetables, grains, proteins (chicken, turkey, salmon, nuts and legumes for example), and superfoods. Clean provides you with an elimination guide and a robust list of foods to choose from to add to your shakes and to prepare satiating meals to compliment your program.

Can I do Clean 21 and Clean 7 back to back?

Following one protocol with the other will enhance and deepen results. There is no preferred order, feel free to begin with whichever you choose!

When should I call a Clean Health Coach?

Clean Health Coaches can help you stay on track during your cleanse, answer any questions you may have, and help you develop a post-program plan. You can book your one-on-one phone appointment before, during, or after your program!

We also offer support by phone and email, so regardless of what your routine is, you can get an answer to your question quickly. Please note at this time coaching calls are only available to our US and Canadian customers.

Do the kits require refrigeration?

No, the kits are shelf-stable and do not require refrigeration.

Before Your Cleanse

Are the Clean 21 and Clean 7 programs gluten, soy, dairy, and nut-free?

Yes, they are. Our programs are also vegan!

Who is a cleanse for?

The cleanse programs are great for many different types of individuals, lifestyles, and diets. It is specially formulated only for those who are over 18 years old, and is not suitable for those who are pregnant or nursing. If you are currently on prescription medication, or working with a health condition, we recommend reading our Health Disclaimer and consulting with your doctor before getting started.

Can my children do the Clean Program with me?

The programs are not suitable for those under the age of 18. However, a clean diet is safe for children to follow along.

Can I do the 21-Day Clean Program or Clean 7 if I am pregnant/nursing/trying to get pregnant/undergoing IVF?

The programs are not suitable for those pregnant, nursing, trying to conceive, or actively undergoing IVF. We recommend following the Cleanse Diet as a healthy alternative during this time.

I have/recently had cancer - can I do the 21-Day Clean Program or Clean 7?

We do not recommend cleansing for individuals with active cancer. It is important to consult with your doctor before making a change in diet. Please consult our Health Disclaimer for further information.

What if I want to do the program but I have an allergy to one of the listed ingredients?

Do cleanse programs affect medication?

It is possible that the cleanse supplements can interfere with absorption of some medications, so it is important to check with your doctor before beginning the program. Cleansing can affect the regularity of menstrual cycles, as well as levels of birth control medication. We recommend using a backup method of birth control while cleansing, such as non-toxic condoms.

How should I prepare for my 21-Day Clean Program?

To prepare for your cleanse, we recommend completing a 3-day Pre-Cleanse, during which you'll eat three solid meals exclusively from the Cleanse Diet.

What can I not eat while on the Clean Program?

During Your Cleanse

Can I eat [food item]?

As a general rule, if a food is not on your program 'Avoid' list, you can consider it approved. If you are at all unsure, feel free to reach out to our support team for more guidance.

What should my meal portions look like?

Portions vary from person to person; we recommend preparing a balanced meal of lean protein, whole grains, healthy fats, veggies, and leafy greens. Pay attention to hunger cues. We suggest eating until about 80% full for optimal digestion.

Can I skip a meal if I don't feel hungry?

We recommend preparing a very simple cleanse shake of the packet mixed with water or non-dairy milk instead of skipping a meal. The Cleanse Shake nutrients are important to receive daily.

Can I snack on the cleanse?

Snacking on the program is fine, but we do encourage keeping an eye out for emotional eating cues or eating from habit. If hungry often, make sure your shakes and lunches are balanced and filling. If you are very active snacking can be helpful while on the program. For both programs, please note it is important not to snack within the fasting windows.

How much water should I be drinking?

Water is vital to the detoxification process. Our quick guide: take your weight, and drink half that amount in ounces of water. If you weigh 150 pounds, you should be drinking 75 ounces as a minimum. It is good to use the restroom every few hours, this indicates you are hydrated and drinking enough water. Use coconut water and fresh green juice also to keep you going, but remember these are in addition to the water you are drinking.

What is the 21 Day Program's 12-hour window?

What if I forget to take a supplement packet or probiotic?

Simply move on to the next dose and save any extras for the end of your program. Do not double up on packets, instead plan to use them during the Reintroduction period.

Can I take other supplements while on the program?

We recommend pausing all other supplements while cleansing, as your program will have you covered in essential vitamins, minerals, and nutrients. If you are taking any prescribed medications or supplements, it is important to check with your doctor before beginning the Clean Program.

Can I take over-the-counter medication while on the program?

We suggest avoiding over-the-counter medication while cleansing. Reach out to us for natural alternative recommendations.

It feels like I need an energy boost, what can I do?

It is not uncommon to feel tired at times during the cleanse. Typically this occurs towards the start of the cleanse, and eases with time. Prolonged fatigue is usually a result of not eating enough, sluggish digestion, over-exercising, not getting enough rest, or an underlying health condition.

Here are a few tips you can try to boost energy:

  • Rest as much as possible. Try not to overexert yourself when your body calls for relaxation.
  • Be sure you are drinking plenty of water; at least half of your body weight in ounces daily.
  • Fortify your shakes and mid-day meal with healthy fats, or increase portion sizes as needed.
  • If active, try reducing your exercise routine until your energy begins to increase. It is recommended to support workouts with supplemental sustenance such as a pre- or post-workout snack.
  • If your bowel movements are irregular, try Eliminate, a Magnesium Citrate supplement that promotes bowel movements and offers additional cleanse benefits.
  • Increase your consumption of dark green leafy veggies.

I am experiencing constipation, what can I do?

Constipation can be a common side effect of cleansing, especially at the start of a cleanse. Yeast and bacteria are dying off and the body is acclimating to the new diet and supplements - this can result in constipation, bloating, strange looking bowel movements, water retention, etc.

I'm not feeling great during my cleanse, or experiencing other unpleasant symptoms. Is this normal? What should I do?

  • Try Eliminate, our delicious Magnesium Citrate supplement which helps naturally promote bowel movements.
  • Drink plenty of water throughout the day. Aim to drink at least half of your body weight in ounces daily.
  • Eat plenty of leafy green veggies or have a green juice that is low in natural sugars.
  • Start your day with a warm cup of water with lemon to get things moving.
  • A colonic can be a helpful way to move things along and is believed to offer additional health benefits, such as improved energy, digestion, increased nutritional absorption, and more.

On the 21-Day Program I noticed that my urine is a different, bright color - why is that?

It is common for urine to turn bright yellow while doing the program, due to the presence of B vitamins in your shake packets. Your body simply excretes what it doesn't need - it's perfectly harmless.

I feel like I've gained weight, is that possible?

Bloating or sluggish digestion at the beginning of the cleanse might cause these feelings. You are doing some deep cleaning. What if I want to maintain my weight and not lose any muscle?

Those looking to maintain weight/muscle mass can fortify all meals with additional protein, healthy fats, and increased calories from cleanse-approved foods and include clean snacks, if necessary. Reach out to our customer support team with any questions.

Can I exercise while on the 21 Day Clean Program and Clean 7?

We encourage you to keep it light and easy, especially in the first few days of your program. Restorative yoga, long walks, rebounding, and low-impact bike rides are great exercises while on the cleanse. You might be able to do more, but it's important to listen to your body and rest when needed. Keep in mind that the more you exercise, the more you need to recover. This moves energy to these areas and away from deeper detoxification.

Can I make changes to the outlined protocol in my cleanse?

For the 21-Day Clean Program the shake-meal-shake protocol is designed for optimal digestion and detoxification; it is not recommended to swap your evening shake for your midday meal. However, if circumstances require this, we advise only doing so once per week.

For Clean 7, the protocol is designed specifically to optimize various intermittent fasting windows. Should you have modification questions, feel free to reach out to us.

After Your Cleanse

For my 21-Day Program what do I do on Day 22?

Following Day 21, we recommend going through the Reintroduction period. Reintroduction helps identify foods that may cause sensitivities or issues (digestive upset, irritation, inflammation, etc). This can help you better understand your body and dietary needs. Further details on the steps of Reintroduction are included within the 21-Day Program.

Can I extend my 21-Day Clean Program?

You can safely do the Clean Program for a maximum of six consecutive weeks (two back-to-back 21-Day Programs). At that point, you are welcome to continue with the Cleanse Diet, as well as select supplements. Schedule a free session with a Health Coach to further discuss extending your program.

How often can I cleanse?

We recommend the 21-Day Program once annually, though some like to cleanse seasonally. Our Health Coaches can help you develop a plan that works best for you! Clean 7 is recommended seasonally, between annual 21-Day Programs.

Should I keep taking supplements once I'm finished?

The supplements within both programs are designed to support detox and are to be taken only within the cleanse period. Following your 21-Day Program, we've designed the Maintenance Kit to support ongoing daily health. You may optionally add our Digest Plus supplement, which is safe both on and off cleanse. These are available to those completing Clean 7 as well, and there are a variety of Clean adaptogens we offer, similar to those included within Clean 7.

How can I maintain my results?

Our Maintenance Kit provides you with the tools to maintain your results and feel great each day. The kit is built around enjoying a Daily Shake and maintenance supplements to support your long-term wellness journey.
