Benefits of Pineapple
Pineapple is a delicious tropical fruit that offers several health benefits, including its positive effects on digestion.
Pineapple is considered a natural digestive aid due to its high water content and fiber. It can help sooth the digestive system and prevent symptoms like bloating and indigestion.
The fiber in pineapple acts as a prebiotic, providing nourishment for beneficial gut bacteria.
Furthermore, it contains an enzyme called bromelain, which aids in the breakdown of proteins. It's the perfect digestive aid and has anti-inflammatory properties too!
Regular consumption of pineapple can stimulate the production of digestive enzymes in the pancreas and small intestine. These enzymes play a crucial role in the breakdown and absorption of nutrients from food, leading to better digestion and ensuring your body can efficiently utilize the vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients required for optimal health.
Full fat for health
Full-fat coconut milk adds a decadent, creamy texture to this dessert. This not only enhances the flavor, but can have a soothing effect on the digestive system helping to coat the lining of the stomach and intestines, working to reduce irritation and promote comfort.
Coconut milk contains fat-soluble vitamins such as A, D, E, and K which are essential for overall health, including proper digestion and nutrient absorption. It also contains prebiotic fiber, a food source for beneficial gut bacteria and nourishing these valuable microbes.
What's best, it's a lactose-free alternative which makes these popsicles a suitable option for all to enjoy!
