Why You Need To Make This Blueberry Shake For Energy

purpleshake-9

There are two things that i’m loving these days: early morning workouts and a super quick, post-workout blueberry shake. This blueberry shake as high-energy as it gets, both in taste and in nutrients. This mason jar is full of large servings of antioxidants, good fats, plant-based protein, and an extra kick of greens. The tahini adds a great flavor and slows down the sugar release from the blueberries. Since blueberries are low in sugar and high in fiber, they are the perfect fruit to go along with the Clean Program.

I hope you enjoy the simplicity of this recipe, but feel free to switch it up with what you have on hand. I love the almond butter and tahini combination, but you can use just one or the other. You could use blackberries just as easily as blueberries, or even raspberries, except you’d have a Pink Mason Jar Shake, which of course totally works too. Enjoy!
